The Executive Editor and Associate Publisher for Geppi's Entertainment Publishing & Auctions, J.C. Vaughn is a Harvey Award-nominated writer who has written for comic books, comic strips, cartoons, magazines, newspapers, trading cards and television. His work includes such projects as The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide, Hake’s Price Guide To Character Toys, The Official Price Guide To Disney Collectibles, the weekly Scoop email newsletter, The EC Archives (Tales from the Crypt, Weird Science, Two-Fisted Tales, etc.), and the Disney comics. He has written more than 2,500 articles for our publications and others, including regular contributions to Toy Collector Magazine, and monthly columns for The Journal of Antiques & Collectibles, Antique Trader, and Collectors Gazette. He assisted in the development and opening of Geppi’s Entertainment Museum. His comic book work, including 24, Shi, Zombie-Proof, McCandless & Company, Twenty-First Century Romances, and Antiques, has been profiled in Emmy magazine, TV Guide, Wizard, and 24 Magazine, as well as on comics industry websites such as Fanboy TV, Newarama, Comics2Film, the Pulse, Comic Book Resources and others. He is an expatriate adopted Texan originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
