Dr. Arnold T. Blumberg is the Curator for Geppi’s Entertainment
Museum. He is responsible for maintaining the pop culture
collection on display at the museum and communicating the story
of pop culture to the visitors via a combination of tours,
publications, public appearances and other related projects.
Arnold is originally from Baltimore, Maryland and has earned his
BA in English from UMBC and his MA in Publication Design at the
University of Baltimore. He holds a doctorate in Communications
Design (DCD), also from the University of Baltimore. The
best part of his job is that he gets to work with the things he
loved most as he was growing up. “Doctor Who” is by far his
favorite television series.

Jeff Robison

Jeff Robison is the Director of
Administration for Geppi’s Entertainment Museum. His
administrative duties include serving as Acting Membership
Services coordinator for the museum. Jeff has been coordinating
the GEM Membership program since its inception. Born and raised
in York, Pennsylvania he earned his Associate’s Degree from
Boston University and his BA in History from Temple University.
Jeff enjoys the variety of events at the museum and all of the
people he gets to meet. He is especially fond of the beautiful
facility and exquisite collection of items on exhibition. When
he isn’t at the museum, Jeff is devoted to his family. He spends
time researching, reading and writing, collecting, music,
gardening and sports.

Julie Meddows

Julie is in charge of the marketing and sales of the museum. She
handles all group sales and attends various shows to represent
the museum. She also works with the press, advertising, and
general marketing groups for the museum. Julie is originally
from Des Moines, Iowa and has earned her BA in Arts Management
with minors in Music and Business. She also has a Master of Arts
in Community Arts Management. From the people that she works
with to the daily activities of sales and marketing, Julie
enjoys everything about her position at GEM. She collects many
things so the museum is a wonderful place for her to work. Among
her collectibles are frogs, Coca Cola Memorabilia, and stamps.
She enjoys many things including the outdoors and spending time
with her family and friends.

Bailey M. Ball
Educational
and Special Programming Associate

Bailey M. Ball is the Educational and Special Programming
Professional for Geppi’s Entertainment Museum. She works to
facilitate the educational effort of the museum by working with
the curator to develop and conduct effective and entertaining
educational tours for school groups. In addition, she also
assists the administration, sales and marketing department, and
the special projects team. Bailey is originally from Ellicott
City, Maryland and has earned her BA in History from the
University of Maryland, College Park. She is currently studying
to earn her MA in Public History, also at the University of
Maryland. The best part about her job is working with the public
to expand their existing knowledge of their favorite characters,
as well as exposing them to aspects of pop culture they may
otherwise never have realized they were interested in. She
enjoys learning about the various collections through her own
research and by giving tours to others. The reciprocal
relationship between her and visitors makes her job fun,
interesting, and rewarding. Her own personal favorite pop
culture characters include the Peanuts, Calvin and Hobbes, and
Felix the Cat. |

Danielle Geppi Patras is the Facility Coordinator for Geppi’s
Entertainment Museum. She coordinates all special events, both
private and corporate, that are hosted at the museum. She loves
being at the museum on the night of a special event and getting
to see the end results of months of planning. Watching the
guests enjoy the museum makes all the hard work worth it!
Danielle’s father, Steve Geppi, gave her an appreciation for
collecting when she was a child, beginning with comic books and
teddy bears. She is happy to say that it continues to this day
with her love for fabulous footwear and her prized collection of
over 100 pairs of shoes. She has a wonderful husband Nick who
gives her all the support and closet space she needs.

Ellen Caldwell

Ellen manages the operations at the ticket counter and is
responsible for the museum store including staffing, record
keeping, buying, planning, and promoting. Ellen is originally
from New Jersey and has earned her BA in Education in the
Physical Sciences. She enjoys the interaction between herself,
her employees and vendors, and gets much satisfaction from
seeing her vision come to life as a profitable result.

Ashleigh Haddad is the Senior Sales Associate and Receptionist
for Geppi’s Entertainment Museum. She is from Maryland and has
earned her BA in Theater from Goucher College. The best part of
her job is the opportunity to see something new everyday; not to
mention working in a museum full of toys and comics. As far as
superheroes are concerned, she prefers Batman over Superman any
day.

Laura is responsible for scheduling, billing, events, tours,
contracts, and the daily office work required for the museum.
The most rewarding part of her job is seeing the look on a
visitor’s face when they come to the museum for the very first
time. She is happy to know that she works at a place that makes
everyone smile and remember their childhood. When Laura was a
child she learned to appreciate comics and collectibles because
her father was an avid comic book collector. She has kept the
tradition alive by collecting Precious Moments and Winnie the
Pooh figurines. |
